Hughes Family
Introduction
Welcome to the site of the Hughes family. Before we continue on with family stories and pictures, I'll give a little bit of insight on my immediate family. To start off, my name is Ashley, I have a younger brother Brett, and my parents' names are Scott Hughes and Juanita (Affleck) Hughes.
We've always lived on the same lot ever since I was born. We're a very close family, we do a bunch of things together but we all like to take charge of things so it doesn't normally end the way we always want it to in the end.
Most of the Hughes family is very outgoing, and love to talk a lot. We are a bunch of social butterflies, and if we haven't seen you in a while and you ask us how we have been, be prepared for a life story up until that day.
Father's Side
My dad's name is Scott Hughes. He has three brothers and four sisters, their names are Shawn, Rick, Urban (only lived 24 hours after being born), Jacinta, Cathy, Bertha and Maragret. They all married and had children as well, Shawn has four girls: Krista, Amanda, Shawna, and Pamela. Rick has three girls and a boy: Alex, Kendra, Rachel, and Olivia. Jacinta doesn't have any children but is married, Cathy has a girl and a boy: Alisha and Micheal. Bertha has two girls Leslie and Kate and is not married anymore. Margaret has three boys: Adam, Matthew, and Nathan.
Dad's parents are Jack Hughes (deceased), and Anita (MacDonald) Hughes. Every one of my dad's brothers and sisters live off island except for his oldest sister Maragret who lives in Charlottetown.
Mother's Side
To start off, my mom's name is Juanita (Affleck) Hughes. She has a brother and sister who are twins, their names are Joey and Paula Affleck. Joey has three children and their names are Hannah, Hope, and Dexton. My mom's parents' names are Elizabeth "Lee" (Campbell) Affleck, and Percy Affleck (deceased).
My aunt and uncles and grandparents on my mom's side all live on the island, and we all actually live on the same road with only a house or two separating us from one another.
